# so I  bought this DVD writer

“Posting links to sites that allow abuse of copyright (or, as in this case, defeat copy protection) is  
not.”

Well, a windows PC can be used to defeat copy protection, does that mean any discussion about PC’s is not allowed?

Maybe you mean web sites _specificially designed to defeat copy protection_?

If DiVX is illegal, I do apologize since I didn’t look past the fact that it was like mpeg4, which is legal.
