As a matter of fact, she thinks she dumped me. In a way she did.

I had been planning to break it over a dinner we had scheduled (in fact, I happened to slip it in **Reply** ’s thread as a [joke](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=15628717&postcount=63) earlier in the day), but when we actually got down to it she brought it up first.

Probably been badmouthing you to dear old dad for a while now.

Defriend her. The last thing you need to do is be reading her updates, her new relationship, having her post shit just because she’ll know you’ll be reading it, etc.
