So I cry a little too easily at movies...

I cried during Ghost and I well up whenever I hear Land of Hope and Glory

What a bunch of fucking Marys!

Lemme just ask a few of my fellow sobbers if there’s any point in any of these movies that brought a tear:

Cool Hand Luke
Road Warrior
Terminator 2
Spartacus
The Great Escape
East of Eden
The Untouchables
Jeremiah Johnson

You can add others if you’ll confess to any of mine.

Field of Dreams.

“Hey dad. How about a catch?”

Every time.

The only time I’ve seen my father cry was at E.T.

Trick My Truck? Check. Overhaulin’? Check.

gigi? Chick.

I could add a few, but basically, you had 666 views and it creeped me out so I had to come in here and change it.

No movie had the power to make me cry until I became a parent. Now I am more affected. When I am pregnant it is even worse. The other day a diaper commercial made me tear up. Sometimes I cry for literally no reason at all. Luckily my sanity seems to return a few months after the baby is born.

Maybe older people are more prone to crying because they have seen more tragedy, and are better at sympathizing? Kids and teens are just heartless bastards as we all know so maybe as you get older you are more prone to crying. Either that or you just get more jaded and turn into a crusty old man.
