In the “Wet Dreams” thread over in IMHO, people were sharing when and if they had wet dreams, and when they started masturbating. I’ve had the female equivalent of wet dreams for over a decade, but have _never_ masturbated. This was responded with a few hearty "Yeah, _right!_"s. Now folks, I have shared my desire to improve oral sex technique, my psychic orgasms, favorite sexual positions, and my favorite sexual fantasies…_why_ would I lie about masturbating? I can share all those things, but _oh no,_ I can’t let them know _that!_ …Um, _yeah_. Why is it so hard to believe? And hey, it isn’t from lack of trying. I’ve attempted it a couple of times (the Llama would love it if I did–he’d love to watch me) and been frankly very bored with the whole thing. I don’t masturbate either and it doesn’t make me a freak – it makes me backed up and horny! It’s not like I wouldn’t if I could, but I can’t so I don’t. It’s a _privacy_ issue here on the ship. I’ll just wait the week or two to poke some young hottie! ---

2nd Law, I think part of it is canceled out because I have very intense orgasms _every time_ I have sex. And, I think my rich fantasy life is really how I masturbate–my hands are never really necessary. When I was 13 and everyone was beginning the masturbation thing, I was beginning the psychic orgasm thing…all fantasy, all imagination, and no touching. Touching myself never even _occurred_ to me. Then came the potent “wet dreams.” Believe me, my sexual frustration had plenty of arenas to vent itself. And as a result–I’m not sexually frustrated, in the _least_. 😃 ---

The way I see it, if you have psychic orgasms, you don’t **need** to masturbate. Everyone else is just jealous about that. Everyone has their own thing. Personally, when the GF is out for the night and I get kinda bored . . . well, actually that’s none of your business. Stop looking at me like that! BTW, this is kinda weird. I remember in high school, you were labeled a freak if you _did_ admit to masturbation, now you’re labeled a freak if you’re don’t. ---

_sighs_ I don’t have psychic orgasms OR masturbate. I, too, find it boring. I have tried, but I just can’t get into it. I must be the real freak here, because at least Ruffian can have psychic orgasms, she doesn’t need to masturbate. I am probably the only one never flies w/o a co-pilot. ---

If you have orgasms due to your fantasies, and you do that on purpose every now and then…that IS masturbation. Maybe not the way that everyone else does it, of course, but that’s what it is. ---

DB, they only time I reach orgasm due to my fantasies is when I’m making love. Really I don’t fantasize outside of those times. When I was an early teen and did the fantasy thing, I don’t think I ever reached orgasm…but I certainly was aroused. And yes, it was masturbation, of sorts, I suppose. But it isn’t the traditional definition, and still leaves a few raised eyebrows (perhaps more than a few) turned my way. ---
