Definitely true, wasn’t there a news story not that long ago about a very small typically thought of as harmless dog either killing a toddler or disfiguring the face?
I completely agree.
It just irks me when ignoramuses such as **Stinkpalm **spread lies about dog behavior, and then don’t even have the stones to attempt to back it up.
I found the pitbull in one go. I used to live with people who had a pitbull/everything else mongrel. He was a sweetie -although their refusal to have either him or the german shepherd/dobie cross bitch they also owned trained in any way just lent credence to the ‘dogs with bad reputations attract bad owners’ theory. He would have been even more of a sweetie if he’d had a day of obedience training in his life. I used to have to walk the dogs because the owners were content to just let them run around the back yard, and boy, he was a hassle to control. I was young. Looking back I probably should have tipped off animal control.
Not a bad breed, but some of the owners are definitely a worry.
That’s a nasty looking bite. I’m glad that it’s healing well, and hope it continues to.
