I just got my first number. So, I have some questions: What should I do? It’s Friday night, so should I call her tomorrow? Or Sunday? I’ll see her in class on Monday, and I kinda want to talk to her before then… An extra factor: She says she’s given her number to some other people (she didn’t specify gender), and she said she’ll just figure out what to do depending on who calls. ---

Congrats! I’d call her late tomorrow afternoon, like 4:30-5:30, perhaps. Not over-zealous, and doesn’t leave her hanging, (or enable others to swoop in and make plans in the mean time) either. ---

Call her tomorrow. For sure. I’d suggest maybe even a little earlier, maybe 3-4. I know you don’t want her to think you’re too eager, but if she is interested, it won’t matter if she thinks that. ---

Personally, I’d say Sunday afternoon, about 2 or 3 p.m. That leaves you looking interested (same weekend) but not desperate (you had something going for Saturday night). Also, Sunday night dates are cool. That is unless anything was said about a call Saturday; if you gave any indication as to when you’d call, that’s when you should call. ---

If she thinks you look to desperate, then she wasn’t all that interested to begin with. ---

**Anonymous** , maybe it’s just me, but your name combined with that message made me chuckle. I’ve decided on a plan: I have registration for Chinese lessons (yay) at 1:30, so I’m going to get home ~2:15, do some reading for an English project for ~an hour and then call her, and ask her if she’d want to go to a movie, and if she does, we can just figure it out which one on the phone. Phew. ---

Update: I called her, and we’d talked for about two minutes when she asked “So, you wanna go out tonight, hey?” We’re going to Matrix Reloaded at 9:25 and I’m picking her up. As far as I know, it’s platonic, but… I’m hoping. ---
