Sorry RickQ didn’t update this. We were just too gutted. Turns out Rick is too sick right now for IL-2. Apparently, it is a rough treatment. So the second plan was chemo to shrink the tumors and give him some more time to recover from the surgery. And then that plan got derailed by a few more days in the hospital for a blood transfusion to pump him up for the chemo. Chemo finally started today. He is getting Torisel, which is indicated for metastatic kidney cancer. It has been really, really hard for both of us. Rick doesn’t feel well. I am a worrier by nature, and now I have something to worry about. This sucks beyond belief. ---

Wow. I had no idea there were so many similarities. Give SpinyNorman a hug (as I am sure you do all the time) and be grateful you have each other. One good thing is that Rick and I don’t have to say that we wish we had been more grateful for each other. We have always known that we have something wonderful. Sounds like you do, too. ---
