# So I just started playing this Kingdom of Loathing thing...

After reading about it a few times on TV Tropes. And when I say “just started,” I mean my “days played” counter is at 1.

It’s kinda fun. “Free” is nice, and the way it keeps me from losing TOO much time to it is definitely appreciated. Oh, and the lack of need for broadband and stuff.

I saw that there’s an SDMB related clan. I don’t know much about clans (or about much else re: this game); worth joining? The SDMB one still pretty active? If not, what should I look for in a clan, assuming it’s worth joining?

I used to play. Careful about that “too much time” assumption.

There have been a few threads in the past about KOL with some more info from the (then) more-active players. The game’s constantly changing so the advice might be really dated. I guess I can’t really say that and then not find them…
