# So I made a youtube channel

Suggestions - invest some time in a unique title screen to make the submission seem more like an episode or complete clip, and invest in a microphone. I find it very difficult to hear your commentary on even the highest volume.

YMMV, personally I find youtube let’s plays that bother with things like into cards, theme songs, or anything else like that to be self indulgent and unnecessary. Just focus on content. I agree with the mic comment.

I’d also recommend doing multiple takes until you get the hang of live commentary. Yeah, it’s a pain, but eventually you’ll have to do fewer and fewer takes as you get better.
