Just to see his latest hi-jinks. It’s been a few days and my account has been flooded with his dumb tweets. My God, does the man never shut up? I’ve had to unsubscribe, his stuff was overflowing my account drowning out all my other subscriptions and making them hard to see. Unbelievable! This guy must spend all day and fucking night tweeting his badly-spelled inanities. My Twitter account has been restored to health now that I’ve stopped his shit coming in. This is a President? ---

Yeah, it doesn’t matter how one gets to his account, but I would just advise against officially following him unless you endorse his policies. ETA: He’s obsessed with size. Every Twitter follower he has adds a fraction of a millimetre to the size of his penis/hands (in his mind). ---

I’m with **Aldi**. It’s not just what Trump himself tweets. It’s also all of the RTs, and packaged up clips from Fox and Friends, and notes from Don Jr, and just endless crap. I could handle it if all I got to see was his idiotic rambling, but no. It’s RTs of every chump who is ever foolish enough to say something that looks supportive or approving. Much easier to just skim occasionally for his bon mots. ---

I’m no fan of the idiot some of we elected. But … Is there solid evidence that he himself is the author of every tweet on that account? I would imagine any non-insane celebrity would have staff writing most of their public messaging, including tweets. Just like they’d use a speechwriter. My point is not that he should or could escape responsibility for what’s said in his name. But rather do we know whether he’s got a few PR shills who can do a good enough imitation of the real thing that he himself can give it a rest for a few hours every day and still have the flow of messages going out? Maybe the calm tweets are mostly the shills and the really left-field ones are all his. Or vice versa. Do we know that we know for sure? Perhaps it’s like his hair: Only his hairdresser knows for sure. 🙂 ---

Early on in his tenure the batshit tweets were coming from an Android phone, and the more coherent ones were from an iPhone, so it seems likely there was at least one other party involved. But honestly, it’s not hard to tell which ones are from Trump himself.
