Great, my sign changed too! Now when someone asks I can tell them Upyourscus instead of Sagittarius. I feel different already. And I now longer have a compulsion to visit those centaur pornsites. Rule 34. ---

Pfft. I went sidereal years ago. This is what I’ve been saying for some time: instead of just dividing the ecliptic into 12 equal parts, actually use these arbitrary collections of stars you’re pretending mean something. I am amused that Ophiuchus is basically pushing out Scorpius. And yes, I know it’s poppycock. Chalk up any pretense that I believe in it at all to my Gemini nature. ---

I guess I get to choose again what I want to be. At first I was on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer, now I’m on the cusp of Gemini and Taurus. Maybe I’ll just stick with being a twin crab. ---

I have a friend who’s been studying sidereal astrology for years, and I just don’t buy it. Can’t explain why, but it just doesn’t fit. I am the Queen of TMI - don’t tell me I’m a Scorpio! Out of all my close friends, there are less than 10% that I think fit their sidereal signs better than their tropical ones. But yes. Tropically, I’m a Sagittarius. Sidereally, I’m a Scorpio. As if. ---

Was a Leo, now a Cancer. I’m glad all the time or money I’ve invested into anything astrological is limited to a $2 pendant I bought 15 years ago, I’d imagine it’s been in a landfill somewhere for the last 12 years. ---

I don’t hang around with enough silly hippies, so just checking- if your birthdate is listed as being two signs, does that make it ‘on the cusp’? So I’m no longer just an aquarius, I’m aquarius _on the cusp_ of capricorn… Ooh, I think I’ll say it in a dramatic whisper… ---

Many astrologers don’t think so, some do, but the ones that do generally define cusp a little more strictly than laypeople do: if your birthday is on the first or last day of the sign for your birth year (the dates change a little bit year to year), then you can be considered a cusp.
