Any Dopers nearby want to let me buy them a drink? Flying in Saturday the 4th with the wife, meeting up with the Kid, who will have been there a few days already. I’m flying out again Wednesday the 8th, and I believe my mother has us all booked up during daytime hours, but she’s an early-to-bed person, so evenings should be available. I know mom has us planned to go to Nogales Monday, and i’ll be at the White Sox…excuse me, the World Champion White Sox game on Tuesday. So? ---

I can get together on Monday when you get back from Nogales if you like. There will be a get-together in Phoenix at the end of March, if you can make that. ---

Hey! I beat you here… I met **troublmakr** , she met the Bus Wife, and the Bus Kid, pictures were had, as well as a Newcastle (or two) and some god-awful mozz sticks. My first Doper meet, and for me at least, she re-affirmed my faith in the fabulousness of Dopers worldwide. I’ve resolved to retire, travel the globe and meeting more of us, so stay tuned…I’ll be buying lottery tickets, waiting to hit the big one so I can get this big plan in gear… Until then, it’s the Sox/A’s tomorrow, then home Wednesday, and back to the grind on Monday. It was very nice meeting you, and your lovely wife and beautiful daughter. You guys are good people, I can tell. It’s extremely difficult for me to meet people- I’m very shy, almost to the point of social phobia- but youse guys made me feel very comfortable and it was fun. Thanks for the beer, and don’t get too sunburnt!
