# So, I'm back after two years. . . ummm, what's up?

Back on the SDMB ( **with** posting priveleges - they’ll let **anybody** with $15 post in here, won’t they?) after a couple years of being a non-paying, occasional lurker. Although I’ve gotta say, I always peeked in the windows for the deathpool and the _24_ and _Lost_ threads. But not in a creepy stalker sort of way. Much.
I’ve gotta say, I love what you guys have done with the place - is that a new sectional? Although I thought you would’ve ditched the avocado shag carpeting by now.
Anyway, I seriously don’t expect anyone to really remember me, and if they do, I’ve probably pissed them off at some point. But anyway, glad to be ba. . . hey, you built a new [game room](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?f=17) !!! Kickass!!! I’m sooo gonna pwn your ass in foosball!

Yeaahh, about the username. . . it’s what I first signed up with, and at the time, for some reason I thought it was witty. Now I realize it just looks vaguely pompous and it even kind of annoys me when I see it. But I don’t want to face the Wrath of TubaDiva to try to get it changed. Two year absence…let’s see. That’s one session with with the squid and two with the goat. Although you can skip one of the goat sessions as long as pasta is involved in the other two.

If I may ride your coattails a bit (whee!) I’ve recently returned after about a year’s absence. I would’ve started a thread, but I thought I’d get a bunch of responses saying, "Who the fuck are you?" **Crown Prince** , if we combine forces, we may be able to hold off the squid a bit longer…

I put in for a name change years ago, and never received a response. I assume that they are still reviewing my request. This puts me in a perpetual Scrodinger waveform of simultaneously being GargoyleWB and Woofa Hoofa Loofa (sue me, I was drunk).
Now, I collapse my identity indeterminacy into GargoyleWB every time I make a post. It must wreak hell on the board servers, makes me feel kind of powerful 🙂
