So, is this really gross? or My goodness I'm smelly!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAlice. If your skin feels dry, don’t bathe, moisturize.

Ginger - I bathed with Baboba Oil (do not even ask me what the hell a Baboba is), and then moisturized when I got out.

It helped quite a bit.

i also take showers everyday…but like said before: a little sweat/smell is good. It’s natural and that’s how animals (including us) ususaly know each other.

But after a run, i don’t need anyone to tell me to go take a shower…i’d do it right away…although my hubby tells me that he doesn’t find it un-appealing.
one pet peevs: smelly feet .::shudder::.don’t wash the rest of ya but for my olfactory sense’s sake, wash yer footsies

As I suspected…

I asked my SO what his first response would be if he was hanging out, and I had just finished jogging and came up to him all glistening and flushed and breathing hard.

It wasn’t “go shower.”

I’ll join in on the chorus and say that a bit of sweat is good, and even a bit of a turn on. I guess it’s good that I like it, as my boyfriend can be a bit of a sweater. Call me weird, but I like what I smell like after I’ve been sitting outside in the sun, or doing some exercise. It’s me-smell.

My dad likes to do hard, physical work around the house or on our cars; if Mom doesn’t have something for him to do, he finds something to do. So to me, having a sweaty, somewhat funky guy around is normal. It’s comforting in a way- the smell means Dad to me.

Of course, if he’s been out for several hours in the SoCal summer sun and the armpits are getting the better of his antiperspirant… then it’s not so pleasant. Mom usually likes him to shower before coming to bed, but since he often gets sawdust, engine oil and other junk on himself, I would too. (Ever tried to get engine oil out of colored cloth? Not fun.)

Cleaning yourself before actually getting in bed to sleep is important.

I’m thinking more along the lines of, you’re in the kitchen making a salad, in walks hunky, sweaty man-beast, you rip of his/your clothes and do him on the lenolium. Hey - it’s washable.

Perhaps this is just my thing…
