How terrible. I’m constantly shocked by the fact that brilliant, wonderful people like this dying at such young ages, while total turds like the Ayatollah Khomeini seem to live forever. RIP Mr. Adams. You were one of a kind in the best possible way. ---

But wait! He can’t die! He hasn’t been shot at on Savromula Beta yet! Oh man. I read and re-read the Hitchhiker’s Trilogy over and over and over when I was in high scool. His stuff played a major role in the formation of my sense of humour…ack, it feels so weird to be eulogising for him. Douglas freaking Adams…and by all accounts he still had so much on his plate that he was working on. Can we please have him back now, god? ---
