Excellent ! Loved the flute ! (Obviously it would be better with fretless bass and a saxophone solo - but i say that about everything !) ---

Damn, I was not expecting something that professional. And there were harmonies and a guitar sound that made me say “Haven’t heard _that_ before…” (my highest compliment) And I’ve just gotta add that if that’s you in the video, you’re exactly what I picture most Dopers as these days. ---

The hardest thing about shooting this video was NOT coming home from the shoot at the Humane Society with a dog… Couldn’t, though - my roommate is adamant that she doesn’t want a dog, and you can’t cross the US border with a dog unless they’ve been given their rabies booster at 15 months. I’ve been waiting nearly 3 1/2 years to join my wife in the states - I don’t think I could take one more snag!! ---

Aww, that’s such a pity. I was wondering whether you had actually gone away with at least one of them. I hope you’ll be able to join your wife soon, and get a dog once you’re there! ---

Beautiful! Even without bagpipes. (Doug, you’re a lot shaggier than the time we met in T’ranna!) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/so-lost-without-you-video-for-my-first-single-premieres-march-31st/981898.md?page=2)
