Hoo boy. Do you know how hot it is at Fort Jackson right now? Better him than me, alls I can say. I live here, but I live _inside._ There’s a magazine we have at the library that’s quite popular with the army wives - _Military Spouse_, but let’s be honest and call it _Military Wife_. It does seem to be pretty good and have a lot of good nuts and bolts information about military-specific topics, like, say, moving with the Army, and should I Facebook friend my husband’s CO’s wife? ---

When I did bootcamp, mail call was the thing I looked forward to every day. I was sent letters, cards, newspaper clippings, anything that my loved ones thought I would be interested in. It was the major boost that got me through. Don’t be hurt if you don’t get much mail back, he is going to be VERY busy. I saved all of the mail I got.
