# So, releasing spiders outside kills them?

Eh, they are always making their own opportunities as well. That’s their job and they don’t have anything else to do. They chew, burrow, dig, etc. Making a home vermin-proof must have really been something back in the day.

That’s why cats were invented. 🙂  
Cats are the solution to like 87% of life’s problems. And the remaining 13% I can live with.

A good mouser is a beautiful thing. It occurred to me that those metal tins that saltines and cookies and all sorts of other foods were provided with and stored in had a utility, they weren’t just decorative. Mother nature doesn’t care, and is trying to kill you, was a lot more readily obvious in those days.
