Please change the clock-work or put a new elastic band in your server because the slow running is driving me nuts! sometimes its 5 minutes between updates or page changes. ---

Sometimes of the day are faster than others. I don’t know if I should mention what times of the day those are though. There are other things you can do when the pages are being created. ---

The busiest time of the day usually appears to be lunch time in the US. That pretty much covers a few hours, what with all the time zones. After that, it’s rather crowded in the afternoon as well (again talking about US time here), and it becomes better during the evening. When I’m on in the morning (CET), most of the North American posters are still in bed. The boards are as quick as any website at that point. ---

Right, and if people just got on the subway at rush hour and rode it back and forth for no reason with six pieces of luggage a piece it would prevent other passengers from getting on and being comfortable. No one is saying you can’t post messages, Dav-o. We’re just saying that there are at least three great threads dealing with the issue which has been an issue since the day I signed on in December 2000. If it had just happened, I can see why we’d all be bitching. jarbaby ---

I’d just like to chime in and say that things appear to be zipping along nicely today for some reason (better hampster food?). I’ve started a thread, replied to several, done a half dozen searches all between the peak hours of 11:00-14:00 EST and there has been nary a delay. Whatever y’all changed, don’t change it back! ---
