See, the problem with you pro-gravity types is that you say the rest of us are “anti-gravity.” It’s not that we’re against gravity, it’s just that we believe that gravity should be a “choice.”
Yeah, well on earth gravity is not a choice, it’s a gift.

A weightless inviroment would help with integrated circuit design (manufacturing) as well.
Hell, it might even give way to quantum computers!! which would be really cool!!

You should better hold it. Because if the anti-gravity folks got their way, you can kiss bye-bye to our athmosphere.
Of course, they’re going to say they just intend to remove a bit of gravity here and there to build a quantum computer or a small fleet of pico-satellites. Yeah, right. But if we begin to let them erode one of our most fundamental law, sooner or later they’ll insist on having freedom from gravity for everybody. And what better way to achieve this goal than completely abolishing gravity everywhere?
Gravity has been part of our values for centuries. Western civilization rests on a firm base only thanks to it. We must keep our ground and fight any attempt to subvert our principles.
Frankly, I’m dissapointed by the dopers. Newton must be spinning in his grave.
