Hit 40 already. Ha!  
Just before (former)Roommate ran up the cable bill and the internet was canned. Bah!  
Try finding out you need BIFOCALS on your birthday. Feh.

Been there.  
Done that.  
Missed the fine print.  
Damned bifocals.

I was 40 this past October and will have to stop calling it my 19th annual 21st birthday this fall—can’t get away with a 20th annual 21st birthday…

Well, Mrs. Blue Sky “technically” didn’t forget my birthday. She knows it’s August 24, but didn’t pay attention that yesterday was that date. When she’s not at work (she’s a teacher) she goes into what she calls her “dumb blonde mode”. If I hadn’t said something last night, she would have forgotten completely. Luckily, I am a person who’s difficult to upset.
