It may have less to do with the hottness of the hooker and more to do with the fact that the client [looks like this](http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/blogs/dealbook/spitzer1.jpg). The rate may be due to performance issues, rather than easthetics - some of the reports suggest that “#9” was a bit of a freakazoid, sex-wise, even by the standards of the professionals. The higher rate may well be a combination of hazard/nuisance pay. ---

What you are paying for is what they call a “girl friend experience”. They treat you like they love you. Add to that some high risk activity and you get high price tag.
