# So To day I pit... Myself

I pit myself for being a overly superior bitch. Yes, I took off the extra weight - when I was ready. The people around me may not have hit that point yet. Don’t judge - because god knows, when I was overweight, I hated being judged.

I pit myself because I have to mentally talk myself into every social activity I attend. I spend so much time convincing myself that yes, I do want to see my friends. Yes, I will have fun when I get there. No, the hassle of the subways, the crowds, and the strangers are not worth a night alone in the apartment. I pit myself for being so anxious about new experiences.

I pit myself because I am still living paycheck-to-paycheck, even though I’m making a good living. I fritter away money. I pay the minimum on my credit cards and student loan. I could be saving money for all the trips I want to take, but instead I act like an idiot month after month. Fuck that and fuck me.
