I didn’t realize I wasn’t wearing a shirt until the reality of how cold it was in the car hit me. Thank god for winter. ---

If it makes you feel better, I completely forgot something today. It was: after math class today, I was supposed to go to one of my professor’s offices for the oral component of my seminar essay - by far, _the_ most important paper of the semester, and the oral (with your two seminar tutors [at the same time]) is possibly more important. I walked out of math. Ten minutes later, a friiend came and banged on my door: “Your oral is, uh, now.” :smack: It went well, though. ---

I put my shirt on this morning and then rustled my sleeping four year old and told her I was leaving for work in the hope that in the next few minutes she’d wake up and I could give her a hug before departing. She sat up, took one look at me and said in a very concerned voice “Daddy, you’re not wearing any pants.” ---

Thanks. Now I don’t feel so bad about those times I forgot to put deodorant on. (Not as gross as it sounds, actually. It only happens in the winter, for some reason, and as you can see by my location, there isn’t much sweating going on here during that time of year.) ---

About two years ago I was driving to work, and having a bit of trouble adjusting to the day. Had trouble sleeping the night before, and juts couldn’t shake off the grogginess. There I was, 55 minutes from home, five minutes from work, when I realized I was still in my pajamas. :smack: The beauty of it was that it was Halloween. I just told everyone I was in my “guy who just woke up” costume. 😃 ---

It’s something in the air today. For the first time in my life, I walked out the door without my keys. Of course, I had locked the door behind me. :eek: “Honey? Honey, wake up! Yes, it’s me pounding on the door. I need my keys!” Tres embarassing. ---

I was driving to work this morning in the dark. I was juggling hot chocolate, missed a curve went off the road and ran down a fence pole. My truck is still there - I’m waiting for a neighbor to help me pull it out. I’m okay, the engine is okay, but I totally ruined the bumper and smashed the grill. All in all, even without that little mishap, my life sucks. This was just the icing on the cake. The shit cake with urine icing. StG ---

You’re not alone-- I’ve left without a blouse, slippers instead of shoes, wearing part of my pjs and almost left without pants at one time or another. I’m not a morning person, what can I say? ---

I have driven almost all the way to work in a blouse and a slip…no skirt. One day on the shuttle bus from the parking area to work, I noticed a girl get on wearing what I thought was a white half slip, and almost bit my lip trying not to laugh. But it turns out that thin knit skirts with lingerie elastic at the waist and lace at the hem were the latest fashion trend at Charlotte Russe, the store she manages. And to think if they’d been in fashion five years earlier I wouldn’t have been late to work and gotten yelled at about it.
