I may be trying too hard, but the best I can do, by switching my computer speakers from my Creative Labs sound bar to the native speakers in the monitor, is to detect a faint hissing sound just before Trump starts to speak again. If it is a high-pitched sound, that could account for my difficulty in catching it, I have lost some decibels in my upper registers. If anyone else wants to chime in (so to speak) and confirm that they hear an obvious sound anywhere in this clip, please do so. ---

I still haven’t listened with the sound up because I only think about it while I’m at work, but my daughter told me she heard it clearly. 🤷 ETA: still can’t hear it with sound at medium ---

While incontinence is a common symptom of Alzheimer’s Disease, it is also a symptom of less serious disorders. I do not see that symptom as disqualifying someone from being president, or being a good predictor of life expectancy. ---

I heard it when the video was initially posted. I didn’t at first, but when I got the specific timestamp and turned the volume up, I could hear it. I heard it again in the video embedded above. It is not just a hiss. It’s a raspberry. As noted, it’s right at the 34 second mark. You can see the woman in the green jacket react. ---

The woman in green probably would have made the same face, and they might have wanted to clear the room before the smell permeated, and a reporter asked about it (although maybe they shouldn’t have been waving their hands so much). I think, just from looking at the various actions, that the staff had understood a pre-arranged signal in case anything like this (or that) happened, hence the bum’s rush. This is me now accepting that there must have been a sound, even though I still can’t hear it. Folks can believe, of course, whatever they want, but the assertion of shitting himself is not proved by this, not even by a preponderance of evidence. (And not that it really matters anyway.) ---
