It’s been a hard couple of days, but hopefully we all got by without the SDMB. So what did you do instead of surfing the boards?
I gave up on the internet, and learned how to play a couple of cool songs on guitar. I also worked a little more than usual, and I actually read a little bit, you remember those old fashioned paper books? Anyway, nice to see that we can post again, I’m relieved 🙂

Had to resort to the only other message board I frequent, [Chowhounds Bay Area](http://www.chowhound.com/california/boards/sanfrancisco/sanfrancisco.html). Reading dim sum restaurant reviews got a bit tedious and just made me hungry. Oh, yeah, and I had to work a little too.

Read James Lilek’s entire site. Cover to cover, so to speak. Read that hilarious piece on “The Gobbler” at least twenty times.
Lurked around Fathom. Didn’t post, though.
Cooked more than usual. Didn’t eat more than usual, however, because I have gotten to where I can’t stand my own cooking. Kids were happy, however.
Oh yeah, and checked my email every fifteen seconds. Other than go through all these little withdrawal shitfits…not much.

Something came over me…maybe I was woozy without the dope.
But somehow I ended up as the project coordinator for this semester’s group project.
Oh, and I got a lot of classwork done and spent time over at Fathom.

Got a friend to lend me her copy of Vampire Hunter D, so I watched that and yelled at the movie several times.

I worked, played “columns”, ran errands, read actual books, searched other sites, and got reaquainted with the joy that is “Penny Arcade.” Oh, and I cooked. Overall, though, not much different.
