A natural enough reaction – except that as soon as he’s gone, she regrets it: she HATES her normal life, and she’s got nothing to look forward to. I am old :eek: but I still think there should be an effort made. Tolkien talks about ‘suspension of disbelief’, and I happily accept aliens or time travel. But a fat alien getting through a manhole is too much! ---

There may have been a much larger entrance to that area that would accommodate a vat full of Nestene Consciousness, and we just didn’t see it. 2. The Nestene may have been much smaller when it arrived, and simply grew. 3. It’s LIQUID PLASTIC. It could probably get in through the crack under the door, never mind a manhole. See? Three perfectly plausible explanations – and that’s without even trying. Easy. 😃 Now you try: how did they get the TARDIS in there? ---

Anyone in the greater Seattle area happen to tape this? I forgot about it yesterday until it was far too late for me to get home and set my VCR to tape it. I did manage to call my father and beg him to do so… And this morning he called back and said “good news and bad news. I couldn’t get the VCR to work, but it was a really good show and you would have liked it. I’m glad you told me about it.” :smack: And CBC doesn’t seem to be showing re-runs.
