So, what does a high school graduate want for a graduation gift?

90 days, same as cash!

I give Leathermans to both boys and girls, and they are always very much appreciated, even by girly girls. A pocket knife or multi tool says “You’re allowed to play with knives now”. :stuck_out_tongue:

Cash is also very welcome.

Haha, I did page through it a bit just in case.

I received a nice small Leatherman from my ex-Grandmother-in-Law one Christmas. Thing is, her tradition (Okie, I guess) was that a knife could never be given to someone - I had to buy it from he for a nickel. Relatives confirm that I was not the first to have this experience.

My first thought was cash/gift card, but then I thought of how stupidly I spent money at that age and thought something more meaningful might make sense. But then I rethought and for the daughter of a best friend, cash; for your own child or close relative, something more permanent.

I vote for cash. My daughter is going off to college in the Fall, and that’s what she wants.
