First of all, **Irish Rogue** , excellent rant! Now, bravo to you for your comeback to snotty agent. That’s the sort of thing I am only able to think of 4 hours later when I’m driving home. **short** maybe you could also tell my ex-husband a little about how it really is. He has a degree - and NO job. Can’t get hired, you ask? Maybe he could if he would apply anywhere. He won’t apply for a job that is not related to his field. His degree is in art history for pity’s sake. This is a guy who never misses an opportunity to point out to all of his brothers (and anyone else assembled) that he is the only one among them with a degree. Funny, he is also the only one who doesn’t work, doesn’t have retirement monies set aside, doesn’t own property, and doesn’t support his kids. Yeah that degree makes him a real prince. He’s also rude to shop clerks (of which I am one) and waitstaff. I’m in no position to know this but **Irish Rogue** I’d hazard a guess that if you had noticed the agent struggling to get the machine filled properly, or even that the agent seemed in a rush you might even have helped without being asked. As for stranding her in Alaska. . .what have you got against Alaska? ---

Way to go, Irish. I have found that the best possible cure for the “I’m too educated to do this grunt work” attitude is to get fired from the college-educated job and spend some time admin-assisting. Or better yet, doing data entry. Great learning experience. (And a much more useful, practical education than most of what you get in college.) ---

Don’t give them a long layover, just a quick change over. Ten to one they’ll miss their flight. (The long layover is for Flint, MI airport.) I also reiterate that pissing off admins has got to be the world’s dumbest move. Admins make the office run. Pissing off an admin is a slow game of Russian Roulette.
