Or why I’m at the doctors office on Christmas Eve.

Per the divorce decree, I have the vaderling for xmas eve this year. When his aunt met with me for the exchange, she informed me that whooping cough has been reported in her daughter’s school. Of course kids get fevers sometimes for no apparent reason. Vaderling wasn’t feeling 100% last night or this morning, but I thought I’d give it a little time to see which way the feel bads were gonna go. Around mid morning took his temp, 100.3, called his pcp, nope no see him they close early today tough shit come back next week :eek: WTF?!? Oh Hell No! So I am at the chain Doc-n-a-box waiting for the results of flu and pertussis tests.

Next week is open enrollement. Today was the straw on the pile of straws of unsatisfactory customer service from his pcp that broke the Sith Bunny’s back and I’m changing his pcp to the Doc-n-a-box which is actually pretty good, and fuck those other motherfuckers

There are wonderful flu drugs available these days! I hope Vaderling feels better soon. And I hope the DorkVader household avoids any and all flu bugs!
