My key ring is two brass seahorses entertwined from the Aquarium of the Americas (their snouts and upper bodies form a heart, and I got it on our honeymoon–all together now, _aaawwwww_). Altogether, I carry four keys: one for my car, one for **Dr.J** ’s car, one for the house (all our outside locks are keyed the same), and one for the back door of the clinic. I’ve also got discount cards from Food Lion and Harris Teeter (I don’t know what I did with my Bi-Lo card.) ---

Two keys: one for my dorm room and one for the house (which is currently useless due to my being at school). My keyring is attached to another thing I got from a frosh pack from another school. So I also have a plastic whistle and my student ID. Never had occasion to actually use the whistle, though. ---

Car key ring has two big combined alarm/central locking/key devices and two tiny keys for the alarm. House key ring has 3 door keys, 2 mailbox keys, 1 key for all the window locks, the electronic device that opens the security gate and a blidingly bright LED torch about the size of a 20c piece from _Kathmandu_. ---

I have a small leather turtle and an even smaller globe on my keychain. Together they make Great A’Tuin. ---

Ive got a key to my cutlass, my jeep, my house, and my basement. I have to key chains. One is a blue shark bottle opener, the other is two dice from vegas. ---

Two keychains. Keychain #1 (work keys): Small yellow plastic dinosaur, master key that will open any office in the building, five keys for file drawers/flippers, key to coworkers desk. Keychain #2 (normal keys): 4-Way pocket screwdriver Remote control for garage door and for front door deadbolt 3 housekeys (front deadbolt, front door, back door I think) Key to Master Bedroom Truck door key Truck ignition key Mini swiss army knife Metal heart with a picture of the Sears Tower (? - it’s pretty scratched up so it’s hard to tell) stamped on it ---

What’s with all the cards on keychains? Is this some new thang that hasn’t reached Canada yet … or has it just not reached _me_? Anyhow, I’ve got a no-longer-functioning plastic flashlight with the logo of my unit at work on it (the only ‘bonus’ I got from here), a braided strip of fabric (makes it easier to grab the keychain from the bottom of my bag), key to my luggage locks (the only way not to lose them is to carry them around everywhere), keys to front door, apt door, and mailbox. I used to use a pencil sharpener shaped like a nose (life-sized) but it got a bit grubby, and a plastic model of a spine and pelvis (given to me by a customer who was a chiropractor), but it kept getting tangled in stuff in my bag. ---

House keys. Car keys and remote fob. An very thin and flat LED flashlight. A knife shaped like a key that I had made from pattern-welded steel. Very sharp. Keys to several padlocks. ---

Keyring #1: My wallet/card case which holds my license, phone card, health insurance card, Supercuts 8=9 card, employee ID; car key, four work keys including that two handy masters, key to the library since I’m treasurer, current house key, key to my childhood home I left ~17 years ago. Keyring #2 stays in the car: mini Swiss army knife, mini tape measure, key to my PO Box (no mail delivery in my area of town). Key to Club stays loose in the car (haven’t been to the Big City in a while.) ---

There are various keychain cards/tags. There’s the Petro Canada one, the local Co-op has one… uhm a couple others but I really don’t have any I just know they are there. ---

A key to my car, two keys to my house. Two to my Mom’s house. Two charms for health that a wiccan friend gave me to aid my chronic health problems. I don’t neccesarily believe that they will help, but at this point, they sure can’t hurt. ---

Lesse here…Focus key, Focus keyless entry, Windstar key, Windstar keyless entry, Explorer key, Explorer keyless entry, Olds '98 key, Olds '98 other key (WTF are my wife and I doing with _four_ cars??), motorcycle key, motorcycle other key (yeah…five modes of transportation…we need that :rolleyes: ), two keys for the two locks to the apartment were in the middle of moving out of, mailbox key for same, two keys for the two locks to the townhouse we’re moving into (Woohoo! The key-making place had NY Giants keys for me and Miami Dolphins keys for the wife :)), two keys for mom’s house, two keys to the main office of the newspaper I worked at five years ago (Ok, not anymore…just tossed them), a CVS Extra Care Card and a PathMark Advantage Club Card. All told, 16 keys (two now in the garbage), three keyless fobs, and two consumer spy cards. ---

Key to my apartment, key to my Jeep, key to my mailbox, key to the store where I work, key to my safe deposit box. Keychain shaped like a penguin, keytag with a little red light in it. A length of grey twill tape which used to be a drawstring in the ankle of a pair of pants is tied to it. I refer to this as the “rigging.” ---

I have a grand total of three keys: two to my apartment and one to my office. My Key…chain…thing is a powerful magic rune, Ægishjálmur (Helm of Awe), carved in lead. It works wonders protecting me from abuse of power and also induces fear in my enemies’ hearts. Come to think of it, it kinda looks like Angurgapi - in which case I should be carving it into the bottom of a barrel and roll it around the countryside to kill livestock. Meh… ---
