We had a nice thread over in MPSIMS for people who have never or hardly ever start threads. I’m interested in what Dopers believe is the best thread they personally have begun. Put a link to it and tell us the title so people can go and check them out. By the way, some of my best threads are ones I began and then barely reposted in afterwards. The Doper Community just went nuts. Mine is probably this one. [Let’s collect all the Unwritten Rules](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=43787) ---

I knew the answer right away, but hoped you wouldn’t ask for a link…ACK, you did! It took quite awhile to find it. “Miss Moneypenny says…” it had to do with writing down a compliment that meant a great deal to you. [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=20342](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=20342) There was one about carnival acts, based on an X-Files show, which was a lot of fun too. But Miss Moneypenny was my favorite. ---

This one here: [Things you’ve seen that actually made your jaw drop](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=59645) It was actually the first thread I started. I was amazed at some of the things people have seen. ---

I always liked this one. It was in response to a bunch of “Who’d win the fight: Klingon or Vampire” threads: [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=13126](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=13126) ---

[The TMI Thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=44749) It all started out innocently enough, with me revealing that I have a wierd substance in my armpit hairs (It’s much less prevalent now.) A few women made the shocking revalation that they sometimes don’t shave their legs. Then, things just got out of hand. ---
