# So what's with all the ads?

If you checked the “remember me” box so that it automatically logs you in every time you access the SDMB, you may have been logged out during the recent upgrade and may need to log in again.

Did you log in? You are a member and so you won’t see ads if you are logged in. When I opened the SDMB today I noticed I was logged out, presumably as a side effect of the board maintenance.

The ads persisted for a bit after I logged in, but then they went away. Phew!

I took that as a handy reminder to add sub time to my Charter Membership…
