I am aware that there are different rules for different forums. Doesn’t change the fact that slinging juvenile insults and dragging the thread off-topic is fucktardish. So…any word on whether the RNC has verified the full return of all the clothes? ---

I expect that months from now when expense reports are filed, this will be buried under a heap, and be indistinguishable from any other expense. And, once again, the $150K number isn’t something people just pulled out of their asses. You can look at the actual expense report yourself. [Link](http://www.theatlantic.com/images/issues/200810u/palin-clothes.jpg) The two biggest purchases are from Neiman Marcus, at the mall in Minneapolis, for $75,062.63 and from Saks 5th Avenue, the real one on 5th Avenue, for $41,805.72. The numbers aren’t inflated, in the sense that these are the numbers that the RNC reimbursed people for. So if you’re saying that the numbers are inflated, you’re accusing someone of expense account fraud. Traditionally Sarah Palin is the one who gets accused of this, but you’re free to expand your horizons on the matter. ---

You must realize that when she says she brought an overnight bag, we’re not meant to take that literally. It’s like when she said the teleprompter screwed up so she had to wing parts of speech to the Illinois delegation (or whoever’s ass she was trying to kiss). I mean, we’ve no doubt got photographs, airline documentation, etc of what she did and take with her on the plane to Minneapolis but she wouldn’t consider it a lie if they flatout contradicted her. ---
