Related to the recent death of a British celebrity, the worst I’ve heard is “that’s two Jokers dead this year”, which is more of a comment than a joke.
There aren’t really any tasteless, crude jokes doing the rounds that I’ve heard, probably because Heath Ledger wasn’t tasteless and crude.
You guys are all way too kind, I was making Heath Ledger jokes a mere one day later. Here is one of my submissions to the thread “Thread titles that will have 0 replies and 0 views”"

Heath Ledger’s fully clothed body was found face down in an apartment today.

And, wow, they’re universally not funny. Not “unfunny,” as in mean-spirited (though some are), but just plain not good jokes.

Well, some of them are. The one about his cat was funny, and I liked the one about “what is the difference between me and Heath Ledger”?
Chacon a son gout and all that. I wouldn’t have been able to pick Heath out of a line up, so maybe that makes a difference.
