Well, I saw the weather chanel this morn. They were live from North Carolina. They made it seem like this was big news-does it enver snow there? Being in Ohio, we are so used to this, its no big deal. AND,🙂 its supposed to go up to the 40’s next week!😃 ---

Frickin ice everywhere. Lot of people without power. Trees and power lines down like you would not believe. Roads are in good shape no problem there, but it’s the trees laying in the roads that are giving us problems. I hate this. I had to turn around three different times on the way to work because the roads were not passible. I should have stayed home. ---

OK, they just rubbed it in. I just spent an hour on the phone with users at one of our turnkey systems having a problem. In Hono-friggin’-lulu. While it piles up outside. That’s just mean. ---

I was _going_ to go to the research library tonight to start researching a new book (they’re only open on Thursday nights now, thanks to budget cutbacks). But because we’re getting 6"–8" of snow even as I speak, I gotta scuttle home on the train right after work. Why _Thursday?!_ ---

I watched NY1 (generally a good news chanel) do a five minute report on the snow this morning. They’re predicting 3-6 inches but from the report you’d think it was the riding of the 4 Horsemen. The reporter on location by the salt depo (anyone else think that the salt is worse than the snow?) seemed incredulous that anyone could be outside in this weather. Fortunately, the real New Yorkers he interviewed just rolled their eyes. ---

WE HAVE SNOW!!! Several inches of it!!! Mmm! If I didn’t have big holes poked in me I’d be out there running around in it. God I love snow!! I wish I lived somewhere where it snowed at the beginning of the winter, and melted in the spring ☹ ---
