Any questions specifically on the boards I think are suppose to be there but I am not sure of that part. I am not leaving but I am cutting back greatly which will be a relief to many posters I suspect. I think I will mostly be only in the game room for now on. ---

We don’t have rules against linking anywhere on the face of it. If somebody asks a question about where to find a site there is no issue with linking to it. When you start putting links to one site in every post you make in order to drum up traffic, which is what **Baldwin** was doing (and then ignoring requests to stop), it turns into a moderation issue. ---

My understanding is that the problem was that **Baldwin** was doing so gratuitously, and continued to do so after being warned not to. I do understand not wanting to cross any lines, though, given how hard some of them are to see these days. ---

If this board goes down, it won’t be because of some rule or policy changes, but because of the people leaving. I’m not going anywhere. I’ve visited the other boards and only one has interested me enough to register and post there, but some things I’ve noticed recently has me rethinking about whether or not I want to stay there, too. ---

Yesterday was the first I heard of all this. Gotta start paying more attention. FWIW, I’m staying though I’ll be checking out domebo and giraffe. I rarely went into The Pit as most of what went on there seemed to me to be just childish screaming and tantrum throwing. ---

I’m staying. I still love this place and have never had any major problems with the moderation here. I have registered at the Giraffe board out of curiosity, and because I always liked **Giraffe** as a mod, but I have no plans to switch. Domebo, with its cute avatars and garish colors (sickly yellow for mod posts), I took one look at and thought no thank you. ---

Just to clarify, you have a choice in the User Control to \*\*turn off Avatars \*\*and to \*\*choose one of 4 skins/themes/board styles \*\*so that there is probably one you would like. If that was your only reason to avoid domebo, you might want to give it another look with that in mind. It costs only about 4 minutes to sign up for free and explore the options and add your own input. ---
