I was wondering how many Queen’s students and alumni there are on the board. All the Queenslings in **sstaurus** ’ post got me curious. Me, I’m a Sci 06 who’s home for the summer (unfortunately). 49 minutes! Woo! So let’s hear it… how many people go/went to the best school on the planet? ---

So you teach us the technique and then complain when we use it? Not very consistent there. What about the other year (there’s one for sure) that had a week between? The week wasn’t our choice either. What about the old years that didn’t use lanolin and had it easier because of inconsitent greasing? Why not just say, “No, because you’re frosh.” 'cause that’s the real (and only) reason. And it’s the only right one. 🙂 ---

Arts 99 here! Oil thigh na Banrighinn a’Banrighinn gu brath… Anyone here learn ALL the verses? I’ll do the second one… someone chime in with #3. _Varsity’s not invincible, they tremble at the news, Of Queen’s College colours and are shaking in their shoes. Yet another victory, the chance we dare not lose. So, Gaels, go in and win!_ I was Leonard 4E, winners of the Leonard bowl, and the 62 day food fight (how long it took for the last of the jello to come off the ceiling in the caf) My sister is now in ArtSci 05. I miss 50 at Clark, and not getting served at Alfies. I even miss GW, and the Journal still sucks. I also miss serve-yourself Tim Horton’s where 40 Timbits, 2 donuts and a muffin can fit in a $1.99 snack pack to go with your 10-cupped Roll Up the Rim to Win Coffee. and the classic Stauffer “Floor 3, going down…” Anyone here old enough to remember going to The Wellington to hear Gerry O’Kane? And I am glad I had graduated before the travesty that was Sci 02 losing the pole. You are all FOREVER frosh now… 😃 ---

I had totally forgotten about that Tim Hortons thing, wasn’t that sweet? Of course, anything was better than the stuff they served in those cafeterias. And in defense of my year, it wasn’t like we were allowed to do a **real** pole chase. But I will still buy you a beer. ---

I liked Queen’s **Grey**. I mean, I didn’t like the classes any (especially calculus), but overall the place wasn’t that bad 🙂 Oh, and the 3 am fire drills that Brockington had every slushy night they could. I had forgotten that. Ah memories… ---

heh… I remember the 3am fire alrams… there were a LOT of them. And brainwashing lasts forever. Yes, the stereotypes about Queen’s are true on a general level, but it was and is a damn fine place to go to school, and there is not other university that comes close to equalling it. 🙂 Kill McGill! (Please tell me that Queen’s still does a kill McGill game every year) ---
