I’m freakin’ tired of sitting here quaking in the frigid chill of the office A/C, yet I refuse to always wear wool slacks and a sweater. I have some nice skirts and lightweight slacks that I want to wear! Unfortunately, Winteralls have been off the market for years. Are heavy tights my only option? Or is there some product out there that I haven’t heard of that’ll take the chill off? ---

Leggings? I guess they pretty much are the same as heavy tights, but they’re pretty comfy–like wearing pants. Sometimes I wear them when I’m going to be wearing a skirt that’s knee length or a little above the knee and I’ll wear that with longer boots, so you can’t really tell they’re not pantyhose. ---

Silk long underwear is fine under lighter pants - not skirts, though, I’m afraid. ---

leggs, ellen tracy, and hue have heavy stockings/tights. some come in nifty colours, stripes, and patterns. the ones from leggs are carried in most big drug stores. ---
