So You Don't Think Grocery Workers Deserve Protection....

They’re heroes to me. I rarely leave the house earlier than justsufficienttogettoworkontime. When I get out, it takes me about fifteen minutes to get to the supermarket, so I generally have fifteen minutes to pick up my necessaries and get to the checkstand. The clerks and stock people are unfailingly courteous and efficient, even when dealing with ten or fifteen patrons lined up at the only open register.

I’m quite grateful that they’re there for me to get what I need.
