Just look at what happened to Susan G. Komen For The Cure when they brought on a rightwinger who was opposed to abortion, so decided to stop funding cancer screenings at any Planned Parenthood facility. They basically may as well fold up shop now. Armstrong perpetrated a gargantuan fraud over many decades. He’s lost _all_ of his endorsement deals and every one of his Tour titles. This isn’t small potatoes, it’s actually a _huge_ deal. Even if the LiveStrong charity was a good organization before this realization made the news, it was run by a crook and a con man. That fact alone is enough to taint it so that even if it were to continue to do exactly as it has always done, it won’t matter a single bit to potential donors. ---

The cites provided by others more than prove the thesis of my O.P. He’s a whore, a user, a charlatan and a two bit hustler. No. Not two bit. A fucking mammoth greedy prick hustler. You want to raise millions under the pretense of being a real star athlete and give every penny away to real research? That and **Cartooniverse** is being unduly harsh towards whores, who provide a valued service with only a small bit of deception involved. My WAG is that **Cartooniverse** admired Armstrong for his achievements after dealing with cancer and now feels betrayed to find out that he (Armstrong) was a cheat all along. ---

I think Carlos Sastra might dispute that, since he is one of those would was the highest placed non-cheating Tour rider, perhaps he may feel that he should have been considered one of cycling’s all time greats instead of the 7 or 8 cheats in front of him ---
