The guy in the plaid pants and bow tie is amazing – I hope we see him again. And Nigel needs to stop trying to banter with the auditioners, because it’s just fucking painful. His comments to the super tall hoofer? Dumb, obvious, unoriginal, and not even a tiny bit funny. ---

Man, Tice annoys me, almost as much as Mia Michaels and that one black judge who needs to put down the thesaurus. Overall, a good show last night. I thought plaid guy was good, but I could see how his personality could get annoying really quick. ---

I suspect if he made it into the top 20 he’d tone it way down – I think he’s a serious dancer and not just a persona. ---

That was the nice thing last night–several contestants were played up so we were expecting some kind of freak show novelty (plaid guy, tall guy), but they really did deliver with some surprising chops. I thought Nigel’s “joke” to the Krumper was uncalled for, but the auditions must be grueling so I’m willing to sympathize a little when they have short fuses. I wasn’t that impressed with the married couple, but overall the auditions have me quite excited about what the season has in store. ---

Heh. He is a sad case, isn’t he? However, he’s pretty much single-handedly responsible for creating this, my favorite show on TV, so I guess I’ll just have to ignore him. ---

A heads-up for those watching the audition shows – there’s a bonus episode tonight (9 Eastern), plus the regular show tomorrow at 8 Eastern. These are the last two audition shows – Las Vegas starts next week. ---

She was destined to not make it, the moment Mary called her “inspiring” (or “an inspiration”, or whatever). As far as I can remember, no “inspiring” person has ever made it to Vegas. ---

Did you see her partner during the choreography? He reached out to grab her non-hand, whipped his hand back, they both missed a step. I felt bad for both of them. I’m already tired of the docudramas. Dude who was a crack baby: “There’s nothing here for me” said right after comments from the obviously ailing aunt who raised him. I get what he was saying, it’s a chance he may not have again (or until next season!), but she’s not dead yet. ---

I don’t see how that’s possible, **Biggirl**. I read the article and watched the uncensored video clip on Perez Hilton’s site, and I still don’t understand how it’s possible that a _dancer_ in a short _skirt_ was no wear underwear. Their movements are always, uh, crotch revealing; we see lots and lots of underwear (well, or dance uniforms that mimic the shape of underwear). She _had_ to be wearing underwear and it moved…right? I want to see her entire routine to try and make more sense of that.
