One of my college classmates (Carroll College, Helena) was from Syracuse. He once told a bunch of his friends there that the worst thing about going to school in Montana was having to take time out from studying for finals to stand on the stockade wall looking out for an Indian attack. And apparently more than one of them were ready to believe him. ---

I love to tell people how horrible it is in Montana so they won’t move there. There’s sooo many people (Californians) moving there, driving up real-estate with their giant homes on the hills. (I just moved from Missoula to Ohio and I miss it already.) This was hilarious though. ---
