Boats. Rowing. “Crew,” if you must. Head-of-the-Charles and Head-of-the-Schuylkill regattas are in the last two weeks in October. Push the 'fest back and I’ll tell you some stories. ---

Who is attending seems to depend a lot on dates. Maybe the first thing to nail down is approximately **where**. General vicinity, at least. In Los Angeles? Near it? Or some other city? ---

My ideal location would be Pasadena. But I’d happily take a short drive, too. ---

Pasadena would be a good location for me as well, since I could take the Gold Line there. I liked the Yard House in Costa Mesa, but it’s much more difficult for me to get there. ---

I’ll third Pasadena… it’s close enough to me here in the SFV that I can get there easily but way nicer and not as dismally poor and depressing. ---

Since several folks have mentioned the Yard House, I’ll mention that Pasadena has a Yard House, too. (I’m not necessarily voting for that venue in particular with this post… just noting its existence. Pasadena has plenty of excellent options.) ---
