Damn damn damn damn damn… The main drain in my house broke in the basement. Got contractors and plumbers coming today to tear up walls and floors and re-do it. There goes my trip. Sorry, folks - maybe next time. ---

Sorry guys, I won’t be able to make it this time. I completely forgot about yet another family birthday party I’m expected to attend (most of my relatives were born in either June or October, it feels like.) Have fun! ---

I just found out it’s my uncle’s birthday party tomorrow at 4:00pm. ☹ ---

With so many dropping out, do we know how many of us will actually be there? I’ll be there with my +1 ---

I’m guessing about a dozen people… I just confirmed the reservation with the Yard House. See you all around 5pm (or whenever you get there). ---

Hell, I’ll swing by and say howdy. I’ll be late, likely won’t stay long or eat, as I will have eaten some of mom’s ab fab cooking (Yay mom!), but I won’t be coming from far away, so I reckon a stop by can’t hurt. I’ll look for y’all, but if you spot a black girl in glasses looking very confused, that’s me. ---

I’m here at home, watching my cousin’s 4-year-old running around celebrating his birthday. Off to steal a Buzz Lightyear-decorated cupcake. Still wish I was at the Yard House, though. ---
