Man, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it?
It’s summer, we’re all busy (hopefully), but we can make this happen! At some point. And all you Ventura County people should stop hiding and come. Don’t make me hunt you down.

How south is south? I’d bet many bowls of posole that anyone further south than me \ is in Mexico.

Here’s a novel idea, give us a clue when you are available and what area/restaurant you would consider going to.

I’m just going to wait and see what date is decided, and if i can go, then i can go, and if i can’t, then i can’t.
I got a bit jaded by the process last time i tried to come to one of these. It seemed to me that a few SoCal Dopefest regulars ended up making the decision about the date, even though there were, in the initial voting, more replies for a different date. It felt like a few people were more keen to see each other than to have as many people as possible attend.
That’s fine; it’s understandable that people who know one another would want to get together again. But i decided that i couldn’t be bothered weighing in if a few regulars were just going to make the decision on their own anyway.

Okay, how about Saturday the 3rd, at Islands in Glendale?
Not that I think anyone will go for that exactly, but now we have something to work from. And I flove Islands, especially now that they have unlimited fries.
