# Soccer: zero points for 0-0 draw

And you’re making the classic schoolboy error of assuming more goals equals more excitement. Most of us who enjoy the game recognise the tactical nouse and gritty determination of holding out for a draw, or a one-goal advantage, as being an integral part of the sport. Plus I won 50 quid on England’s last result… 🙂

Anyway, the average isn’t 1-0. I guess the most frequent result, in this particular World Cup, at the moment, is 1-0, but the long term average is about 2.5 goals per game.
