Did you guys in the US see that one of the snowflakes failed to open up into an Olympic Ring? I only ask because there’s been some talk of the footage being replaced by footage from the rehearsal. ---

Defective snowflake covered on CBC rebroadcast. It’s a shame, but shit happens in live performances. There was something similar at the Vancouver opening ceremony, but I can’t recall exactly what it was. Something on the floor not opening? And BTW this is why the NFL made the Red Hot Chili Peppers prerecord their performance. They did NOT want a technical malfunction during the half time show. ETA: My God this is a boring opening ceremony… ---
