Maybe a little housewarming thing? Possibly a little poker, and maybe even some pizza? Do I sound as desperate as I feel? Do I care? ---

Saturday afternoon I will be tied up checking out the Stanford baseball game, but afterward I imagine **slackergirl** and I might be tempted to join you. On the list of “Do Have,” you forgot to list “comfy bed.” I know from personal experience! ---

Damn it, I’m serious. Here it is Saturday morning, and only **Snooooopy** and **slackergirl** have expressed even the remotest interest in entertaining me tonight. I want to play some poker! No high stakes - nickels, dimes, quarters - just for funsies. Email solicitation may be needed. Although the thought of playing Naked Twister alone with Snooooopy is, er, intriguing, in a disturbing kind of way. ---

**White Lightning** , he is indeed in the East Bay - Oakland kinda near the coliseum. I think Snoooopy and I will be available around 8ish. If any of the city-folk want to come by we could probably provide some BART transport. And, yes, we are quite bad-ass 😉 ---

Poker night was pretty cool. I finally had to drop out when I was faced with the notion of learning the 100th different variation of poker that evening – **Jack** and **slackergirl** ’s pal Ron are mightily inventive folks. It was midnight and I didn’t want to do anything but play basic five-card draw or seven-card stud, and perhaps suggest some really ridiculous wild cards when it was my turn to deal. ---
