How about we just stick to the “don’t be a jerk” rule, and if someone gets “terminated”, their offenses (or some of their worst ones) are linked to. Banning the annoying is pretty broad. Every one of us is annoying to someone. All of us. If annoying was all it took, SDMB would be pretty empty. If smeone is a sock, then I’m fine with both the sock and the “real person” being obliterated. ---

It’s a loophole, like having diplomatic immunity or taking the license plate off your car and driving on the sidewalk. I am powerless to stop them.
